Las ventas internas de Pemex –incluidas las de gasolina– no despegaron durante agosto, a pesar de la apertura de mayores actividades económicas.
En el octavo mes del año, la compañía nacional sumó ventas por 38,266 millones de pesos, una contracción de 4% o de 1,589 millones de pesos en comparación con las registradas en julio.
Estas cifras muestran los ingresos de la compañía por comercialización de petrolíferos en el país, como gas licuado, gasolinas, combustóleo y gas natural.
En comparación anual, la disminución fue más pronunciada. En agosto de 2019 la petrolera nacional recibió ingresos por este concepto equivalentes a 64,374 millones de pesos. Así, la disminución fue de 40.5% o 26,108 millones de pesos en comparación con el mismo mes del año pasado.
Las ventas de la compañía parecen haber superado la peor parte de la pandemia. En abril la petrolera tocó mínimos: tuvo ingresos por 22,103 millones de pesos por este mismo concepto.
Las ventas de gasolina también se estancaron durante agosto, tanto en volumen como en valor. Pemex comercializó 552,000 barriles diarios de gasolinas, 1% menos que en julio y de 23.6% antes que en agosto del año pasado. En cuanto a ingresos, sumó 24,622 millones de pesos. Se trata de una disminución de 475 millones de pesos o de 1.8% respecto a julio. La baja en ventas fue mayor comparada con agosto del año pasado, de 13,188 millones de pesos o de 34.8%.
En junio pasado, y como parte de un reporte a la Comisión de Bolsa y Valores de Estados Unidos (SEC, por sus siglas en inglés), la petrolera informó que debido a la pandemia sus ingresos en el país disminuirán cerca de 61%, principalmente por una baja en la demanda de combustibles.
La Organización Nacional de Expendedores de Petróleo (Onexpo) ha dicho anteriormente que espera un aumento en la demanda de gasolina hasta inicios del año próximo.
Las ventas al extranjero comienzan su recuperación
En contraste con las ventas en el país, las exportaciones de petróleo crudo de Pemex tocaron su nivel más alto desde febrero pasado.
En agosto la compañía nacional comercializó en el extranjero 1,190,000 de barriles al día, un aumento de 139,000 barriles o 13% en comparación con un mes antes.
Los ingresos por exportaciones también mejoraron. Pemex sumó ventas por 1,459 millones de dólares, 22% más que un mes antes.
La petrolera vio la baja más importante en sus exportaciones durante abril, cuando incluso la mezcla mexicana tocó un valor negativo por primera vez en la historia.
